Google I/O 2019 dates confirmed for May 7-9

Google inconspicuously shared Friday, details about it's upcoming I/O conference. The three-day developer summit will take place May 7 to 9 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

Google shared a code puzzle, which was quickly solved by Twitter user, Till Kottmann @deletescape. From the code he extracted the riddle: Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 8 9, or the dates of the conference. Google I/O traditionally takes place in May.

Google CEO, Sundar Pichai later confirmed the dates and location for Google I/O 2019. Currently, there are no further details about the conference, such as when tickets will go on sale. However, there are already several speculations brewing about the Android Q, which Google is sure to preview at the conference.
