T-Mobile Revvl 8 steps into the AI age with built-in Google Gemini features for just $200
T-Mobile has brought Gemini AI features to its Revvl 8 smartphone. The $200 device comes with a 50MP camera and a 5,000mAh battery. It’s free with select deals.
T-Mobile has introduced its latest carrier-branded smartphone, the Revvl 8, which will be available exclusively at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile starting August 14. The smartphone joins T-Mobile’s Revvl line, including the Revvl Tab 2, which launched in June, featuring AI capabilities and tons of carrier perks.
The T-Mobile Revvl 8 has several highlight features of its own, including a Qualcomm processor, powering built-in Gemini AI features, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS for improved results in photography and videos, particularly in low light.
The smartphone is available in an Icy Silver color scheme. Other specifications include a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage with microSD expanded storage up to 2TB. Its entire dual camera system includes a 50-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens, while its front camera is a 13-megapixel lens. It runs Android 15 for software with Face unlock and Fingerprint security features. It also comes with five years of security updates and a limited lifetime warranty.
The device retails for $199.99, with both T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile offering the device for free with different deals. Customers can get a free Revvl 8 handset at T-Mobile with a new a line to most plans, when trading in an old device, or through the carrier’s Equipment Installment Plan. Metro customers can get a free handset by joining for as low as $40 per month.
T-Mobile customers get to take advantage of many of its Magenta Status perks, including its T-Satellite with Starlink connectivity when helps users get mobile access in remote areas, free access to Apple TV+, Hulu and Netflix, in season access to MLS Season Pass and MLB.TV subscriptions, free in-flight Wi-Fi and free international data in over 215 countries. The carrier also offers a number of T-Mobile Tuesdays and Club Magenta perks that subscribers can take advantage of regularly. Metro customers can also participate in T-Mobile Tuesdays, and also get perks including Scam Shield and free season-long subscriptions to MLS Season Pass and MLB.TV. They also get 100GB of storage with Google One and HD video and can get a free 5G phone when they join the carrier with yearly upgrades when eligible.
